Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change the wording?
Yes. All wording on the website is an example only. You can have any wording you would like, of which we will set to fit into the design. This is all included in the price. 

Can I include a poem or phrase?
Yes. We will fit this into the invitation or stationery as appropriate.

How do I know if my wording will fit on the invitations?
We have a qualified graphic designer to set your stationery, whom is experienced in the layout of text and will ensure your wording will sit correctly. We will contact you to discuss alternative options if we feel any part of your stationery is not going to work. You will also receive a pdf proof so you can check this has all been done to your satisfaction.

How will my invitations arrive?
Invitations will be placed inside envelopes and left unsealed.

Do you seal the envelopes?
No we do not seal the envelopes. Your invitations will come placed inside the envelopes, but we do not seal them so you are able to include anything extra you may want to and so you can check your order. If you have chosen to have seals for the back of the envelopes, these will be included on peel off sheets and will be included in a separate envelope along with your order.

Do you have a minimum order?
Yes we do have minimum order quantities for most of our products. The minimum order quantities can be found displayed in the quantity box in the detailed description of each item.

What is the Order Process?
Ordering is easy:

  •     Select the design
  •     Choose personalisation options
  •     Enter details and wording
  •     Enter quantity and click the ‘buy’ button
  •     Enter shipping and payment details
  •     Email us the completed guest list form and photo if required
  •     We create a proof which is emailed to you for approval
  •     You approve the proof (after any requested changes are made)
  •     Your stationery is printed and delivered to you

Can I wait until I receive my RSVPs back before ordering items such as place cards and bomboniere tags?
Yes, in fact we recommend this, as you will then be able to provide us with all the correct names for personalizing these items. In general we can print these items fairly quickly as we understand your wedding date will be approaching quickly once your RSVPs have been returned.

Should I order extra invitations for spares?
It is recommended you add at least 5-10 blank invitations to your order to allow for last minute and/or fill in guests for those who can not attend. These will have a blank space for you to handwrite guests names, accompanied with a blank envelope in your chosen colour.

How do we view our stationery to approve it?
A proof via email will be sent within 2-3 working days upon receipt of full payment and submission of guest information.

How should I supply the guest names and addresses?
Items that have the option of being personalized will have a guest list emailed to you upon completion of your order. This form is to be returned to us once your order has been placed. Type all names exactly as you would like them to be spelt and written. eg. Mr & Mrs Smith, John and Jane Smith, John & Jane, If you aren’t sure contact us first!

How do I pay for my wedding invitations?

Can I pay a deposit for my stationery to be setup?
No, we do not accept deposits on orders, they need to be paid in full before any items are setup and emailed for approval.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Upon receipt of the order, payment and wording, we begin the design process of creating your proof. This takes approximately 2 working days. Please see our delivery page for total timeframe information.

We will notify you if turnaround times need to be extended for any reason. Please contact us for custom design timing or if your order is urgent.

Can I change the colour of one of the designs?
We can change the colour on some of our designs. We have a colour chart available for you to make a colour/s selection from. Please check with us prior to ordering to discuss your colour choice and its suitability to your prefered design. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Do you send out samples?
Yes we send out sample packs. Please see our samples section for pricing and details.

Do you have a showroom I can visit?
Our online gallery is our showroom and all of our current designs are displayed here. If you would like to see the quality of our invitations please order a sample pack from our samples page.

Can you deliver internationally?
Yes. We can deliver to some international locations. All international orders must be paid by credit card or Paypal.

How do I supply my photos?
Images can be supplied either via email, on disk or as a hard copy photograph. Please do not alter images (e.g. change size or colour) as this is part of our service and ensure digital images are at the highest possible quality. Emailed images must be supplied as a JPEG that is no larger than 3MB and no smaller than 300KB. Love Notes will examine your images upon receipt and advise if they are not suitable to be used for print.

Can I use professional photos?
Yes you can use professional images; however these may be protected by copyright laws and cannot be reproduced without permission from the photographer. Love Notes will credit photographers on stationery upon request.
